The heart of the system is the
UNIFLOW 3M milking unit
Measurements for each individual gland are made by separate sensors.
If the measurement causes alarm, it is indicated, and the LED shows which gland is affected (e.g. the right front gland).
The sensors, fitted in the claw, measure the salt content of the milk during milking. The mastitis indicator shows the result direct on the indicator during milking. The signal remains on the indicator until next cluster attachment. The cable between the milking unit and the mastitis indicator runs in a special tube positioned between the two air tubes. This ensures a robust connection in an area in which the cows may step on the claw and the tube.

No connection to any external computer. The system is fully portable and can be fitted in cowhouses of all makes.
