Handyflow - teatcup with automatic vacuum control for sheep and goats
The new SAC teatcup - HANDYFLOW - departs from the established principles of machine milking of sheep and goats.
Liners, teatcup shells and claw are fitted together in a compact unit with automatic control of the milking vacuum shut-off valve.
In HANDYFLOW the opening/closing function of the milking vacuum is fully automatic and built into the integrated teatcup/claw. Omission of the short milk tube and the positioning of the air intake in the claw right below the teat point ensure efficient transfer of the milk.
Designed For Sheep and Goats
When milking sheep and goats the traditional way large air intakes during teatcup attachment often cause problems. The air intake may result in obstacles in the milkline, considerable vacuum fluctuations and impurities entering the milking plant. The claw integrated in the teatcup ensures a free milk flow from the teatcup, thus avoiding harmful "teat wash".
HANDYFLOW complies with the coming ISO standards for teatcups for sheep and goats. It is also constructed to meet all future requirements on milk quality and udder health.
No Vacuum Fluctuations and No Impurities
In conventional milking plants it is a problem, if an animal kicks off the cluster during milking, as this may cause vacuum fluctuations and the sucking up of impurities. This is avoided by using the HANDYFLOW teatcup which automatically turns the milking vacuum on and off.
Ergonomical
When developing the teatcup we focused on creating the best possible workig conditions for the milker.
HANDYFLOW simplifies the attachment in that the operator does not first have to open a vacuum valve on a main claw. The operator can turn his eyes direct on the primary field for attaching the cluster.
In connection with manual removal of the cluster the milking vacuum turns off automatically. The operator does not first have to manually turn off a stop valve on a main claw.
